Bear is a third-year DPhil student from St. Catherine's College. His academic background is rooted in Chemical Engineering (M.Sc., Imperial College London) and Materials Science and Engineering (B.Eng., SUSTech) and he is currently involved in research on electrochemical CO2 reduction. His primary project is to design lanthanum cuprate catalysts with doping to transform CO2 into valuable chemicals. Outside of chemistry, he thoroughly enjoys watching videos for leisure.
